Oriana receives the MS degree in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology in October 2012 at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia with a thesis focused on the characterization of the transcriptome and the epigenome of human hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells and their lineage-restricted progeny. In March 2017 she receives the Ph.D. degree in Molecular and Regenerative Medicine at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia with a thesis titled “Genome-wide definition of genes and regulatory elements involved in human hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells commitment and differentiation”. Since January 2017 she is a temporary research fellow at the Department of Life Sciences of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Her research activity mainly concerns the bioinformatics analysis of transcriptomic and epigenomic data to study the human hematopoietic system in health and disease, and is currently carried out in collaboration with the laboratory of “Chromatin and gene regulation during development” (Dr Annarita Miccio) at the Imagine Institute of Paris.
